Professor Lilian Ebele Chris‑Ozoko,

Professor Lilian Ebele Chris-Ozoko is a medically qualified Human anatomist and distinguished medical educator with more than two decades of progressive leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate health sciences education within the basic medical sciences. She currently serves as Professor of Anatomy and has held several senior academic appointments, including Head of Department, Associate Dean, and Faculty Representative for Quality Assurance. Across these roles, she has shaped curriculum reform, strengthened assessment systems, and advanced clinically integrated anatomy teaching within diverse international settings.

Her work extends beyond institutional boundaries through contributions to medical education development and capacity-building initiatives across West Africa and other global regions. She has provided consultancy support to universities and regulatory bodies, guiding the establishment of robust academic standards, governance structures, and evidence-informed teaching practices.

In the United Kingdom, she contributes to interdisciplinary clinical and academic initiatives in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with particular focus on neurodevelopmental disorders and rare genetic syndromes associated with behavioural and emotional difficulties. Her work advances integrative models that bridge embryology, developmental biology, and early-life determinants of mental health within neurodiverse populations.

Professor Chris-Ozoko’s expertise spans anatomy education, digital and blended learning innovation, academic governance, and quality assurance frameworks. Her scholarship and leadership continue to influence the evolution of modern anatomy teaching, with particular emphasis on clinical relevance, learner-centred pedagogy, and sustainable educational development. She brings this breadth of experience to support the strengthening of academic standards, programme quality, and strategic institutional growth within The Global College Group.

Dr Sue Taplin, Member Academic Board

Dr Sue Taplin is a qualified Social Worker with over twenty years of experience in higher education leadership, research, and teaching. She has held multiple appointments as External Examiner for Social Work programmes across the UK, has served as an Education Quality Assurance Registrant Inspector for Social Work England, and is currently training as an External Quality Assurance Assessor for Apprenticeship Programmes with the Office for Students.

In 2021, Dr Taplin completed the Aurora Women’s Leadership Development Programme with Advance HE and is co‑author of two key textbooks on achieving professional standards in Social Work practice education in the UK.

She is currently employed as a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Winchester, UK.

Dr Taplin has been appointed to the Governing Board of The Global College Group, where she will provide strategic leadership on safeguarding, welfare, and professional standards. She will serve as Head of the Safeguarding Committee, offering oversight, assurance, and expert guidance across all safeguarding matters within CRAS, CLAPS, and the wider Group.

Dr Renée Bleau, Member Governing Board

Dr Renée Bleau is a distinguished retired academic psychologist whose career spans several leading universities across the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Middle East. She has held substantive academic posts at the University of the West of Scotland, the University of Wollongong in Dubai, and the University of Glasgow, where she contributed to the advancement of psychological science through teaching, research, and departmental leadership. A Chartered Psychologist, she has played a prominent role within the British Psychological Society, serving as Chair of both the Social Psychology Section and the History and Philosophy of Psychology Section.

Her scholarly expertise encompasses quantitative and qualitative research methods, psychometrics, and the philosophical foundations of psychological inquiry. In 2016, she served on the QAA Psychology Benchmark Statement Review Group, helping to shape the national expectations that underpin academic standards in psychology across the UK. Beyond her academic work, Dr Bleau continues to apply her psychological knowledge in service of the community as a volunteer with Cruse Scotland, supporting individuals experiencing bereavement with empathy, professionalism, and evidence‑informed care.

Dr Bleau brings this breadth of expertise, methodological rigour, and disciplinary leadership to The Global College Group Academic Board, where she plays a vital role in strengthening the organisation’s academic governance and quality assurance frameworks. Her experience shaping national benchmarks directly informs TGCG’s commitment to robust standards, while her deep understanding of research methods and psychological theory enhances the intellectual integrity of the Group’s qualification development. Through her thoughtful guidance and seasoned academic judgement, she helps ensure that TGCG’s academic vision remains rigorous, credible, and aligned with the highest professional expectations.

Dr Andrei Selleri, Member Academic Board

Dr Andrea Selleri is an independent researcher working at the intersection of literary scholarship and the legal sector. He holds a PhD in English and Comparative Literary Studies from the University of Warwick, where he also taught and conducted research across several years. His academic career includes further appointments at Bilkent University in Ankara, enriching his international perspective and deepening his engagement with nineteenth‑century literary culture.

A specialist in Victorian studies, Dr Selleri has published widely on the intellectual, cultural, and aesthetic debates of the nineteenth century. His monograph, forthcoming with Edinburgh University Press, consolidates years of research into the period’s literary criticism and its broader cultural implications. He also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Victorian Culture, contributing to the stewardship of one of the field’s leading scholarly platforms.

Dr Selleri brings this combination of scholarly precision, editorial expertise, and cross‑sector insight to The Global College Group Academic Board, where he plays a key role in shaping the organisation’s academic integrity and long‑term intellectual direction. His deep understanding of research culture and critical methodology strengthens TGCG’s commitment to rigorous standards, while his experience in both academia and the legal profession supports the Board’s work in governance, policy refinement, and quality assurance. Through his contributions, TGCG benefits from a voice that is analytically sharp, culturally attuned, and unwaveringly committed to academic excellence.
